To start this quest you will need to find NPC Oldrak Can be found in Plains of Havoc Spontaneous Speech: Beware of the undead approaching this temple! Oldrak . He is the monk that protects the temple for the order of the "Nightmare Knights".

When you find NPC Oldrak Can be found in Plains of Havoc Spontaneous Speech: Beware of the undead approaching this temple! Oldrak , say: "Hi", "Hugo", "Myth", "Yenny the gentle". He will tell you information about Hugo, a "halve demon, halve something else" created long time ago by the powerful Yenny. After you gather this information you can proceed to talk with the NPC Zoltan Can be found in Edron Spontaneous Speech: Use your knowledge wisely. Zoltan . He is located in the third floor (+3) of the "Noodles Academy of Modern Magic" (Edron), here:

Talk to him and say: "Hi", "Yenny the gentle", "Crunor's Caress". He will tell you that Yenny was one of the founders of the Crunor's Caress, a druid order that was originated in Carlin. Since he doesn't know anything else your next mission is to learn more about this order. To do so, head over to the Druid Guild in Carlin located south of the Depot, here:

Here you will meet with NPC Padreia Can be found in Carlin Padreia , she is the Druid Guild Leader of Carlin. Talk with her and say: "Hi", "Crunor's Caress", "Footnote".

Now go to NPC Lubo Can be found in Thais Spontaneous Speech: Stop by and rest a while, tired adventurer! Have a look at my wares! Lubo in Thais and gather some more information about the Crunor's Caress. You can find him here:

Talk with Ludo. Say: "Hi", "Crunor's Cottage", "Flower Guys", "Accident", "Stable". He will tell you that the building (now his adventurer shop) used to be an inn. He will confirm that it was used by the Crunor's Caress but it was sold to his family after an accident happend in which a pet escaped its stable behind the inn and got involved with powerful magic at a ritual.

Entering the Paradox Tower

Your next mission is to finally enter the Paradox Tower. First you will need a key that opens a door in the Tower's fourth floor ( Key 3899 Weight: 1.00 oz. Key 3899 ). To get it, go west of Kazordoon and into the Minotaur cave where you can find the teleport to fight the Horned fox, here:

Then head north as much as you can until you find a rope spot and use it. Walk south east and you will see the dead tree that contains the key. Be aware that sometimes by walking to the tree you may activate a trap that deals 200 hp poison damage, this ins't always the case though.

After you have the key you may access the tower. First go to this spot:

Then place the parcels on the ground and climb the mountain (or use the Levitate spell). After you climb three time you will be in an area that contains two Wyvern 795 hp 515 exp Possible to transform into Not possible to summon Not possible to convince Fire 0% Earth Immune Death 0% Holy 0% Ice -10% Energy -20% Physical 0% Drown 0% Healing 0% Paralyze Life Drain Detects invisibility Created in patch: 7.9 Attack type: Close Use haste Run on low HP Push objects Walks on fields: poison Negative effects: drunk,poisoned Wyvern , stand on the left side like we show you in the following image. If you are alone and using parcels, keep at least one wyvern alive since you wont be able to go up another level othwerwise. Then use the Levitate spell or place the Parcels under you and go up (if you are using parcels you will need to have a wyvern or another player in front of you).

Go through the door and rope yourself up until you find a Glowing Switch with some stones around it. Place one Skull Weight: 21.80 oz. Skull on each stone and walk in the Glowing Switch tile, this will teleport you to the tower.

The paradox Tower

Now use a Machete Attack: 12 Defence: 9 one-handed Weight: 16.50 oz. Machete , Heavy Machete Attack: 16 Defence: 10 one-handed Weight: 18.40 oz. Heavy Machete or any secret service tool to make your way into the tower. You will notice that the first floor is filled with grass and a rock. You will need to cut the grass (if you check your minimap or the following image you will see the right path) and stand in the tile located to the south east of the room (marked as A). Wait around five minutes and once the grass close to the door starts growing again you will need to step on the tile marked as B (it's the one directly diagonal to you) and some stairs should appear where the rock used to be (Marked as C), run to them so you can get to the next floor.

In the next floor you will see seven levers and some bookshelves. Six of these levers need to be facing certain ways so you can use the other to go to the next room. If you check the middle bookshelf to the left you should find a book that contains the right direction of the levers but written backwards. The answer is Right, Right, Left, Left, Right, Left.

The next floor is divided by two rooms. When he get close to the corner, keep "using" the tile where the ladder appears. If you arent able to get it in time and/or the ghoul dissapears, just flip the switch again.

In the next floor use the Key 3899 Weight: 1.00 oz. Key 3899 that you obtained from the dead tree earlier. Place the fruits on the tables in this order: Melon, Banana, Cherry, Apple, Grapes, Coconut. Then use the lever and a ladder will appear to let you up to the next floor.

This floor contains two statues, two signs and a lever. If you "look" the statues they will tell the correct side where you should place the white and black chess pieces. You should place the White Knight Token Weight: 5.00 oz. White Knight Token to the left and the Black Knight Token Weight: 5.00 oz. Black Knight Token to the right (both in front of the signs). Pull the lever and go up the ladder.

In this last floor you will meet NPC Riddler. Talk to him and you will have to pass a test that consists in three "Seals" (Seal of Knowledge, Seal of the Mind and Seal of Madness). Say exactly this to accept and pass the test: "Hi", "Test", "Yes", "Goshnar", "Demonbunny", "Tha'kull", "Yes", "Breath", "Silence", "Old", "Yes", "Green", "none", "". Notice that if at any point you fail by saying the wrong keyword, you will have to start all over and say all the correct answers.

Hellgate

After you finish the test you will be immediately transported to Hellgate. Follow this path to get out:

** Note : When you reach end of image 9 you will have to use Parcels or Levitate Spell to climb up and in the path showed in image 10 you will find a lever that activates a bridge located in the floor above. **

Mintwallin

Now you need to find NPC A Prisoner Can be found in Mintwallin A Prisoner . He is located in the Mintwallin's Jail. Walk or take the boat to Thais and follow this path from depot:

When find NPC A Prisoner Can be found in Mintwallin A Prisoner , talk with him and say: "Hi", "Math", "Yes", "Green" (Check your questlog, your color should be there), "Yes". He will give you a random number, this is the answer to Riddler's last question (What's 1 + 1?). You will also get the achievement Mathemagician Sometimes the biggest secrets of life can have a simple solution. Points: 1 Premium Mathemagician .

Final test and treasure room

Now go back to the Paradox Tower (You shouldn't need to repeat all the process in each floor, just cut the grass in the fist one and wait for the Ghoul in the third floor). Talk with Riddler and answer the questions like you did before but this time instead of saying "" in the last question, say the number that "A prisoner" gave you (check your quest log). Here is what you need to say again: "Hi", "Test", "Yes", "Goshnar", "Demonbunny", "Tha'kull", "Yes", "Breath", "Silence", "Old", "Yes", "Green", "None", "".

After you complete his test successfully you will be able to enter the treasure room. In this floor you can find 4 Chest Weight: 120.00 oz. Vol.: 15 Created in patch: < 6.0 Chest and 12 Switchplates. Once you walk through a Switchplate, a chest will explode preventing you from getting its content so be careful of where you step and pick your reward wisely. This image shows where you need to walk in order to get the items that you want:

The letters show you what item will be destroyed if you walk in that tile and the items icons show you what you will get if you walk through both tiles. For example, if you walk through the first two tiles the chest containing the Phoenix Egg and the Platinum Coins will explode so you will get the Wand of cosmic Energy and the 32 Talons.

E = Phoenix egL

P = Platinum Coins

W = Wand of cosmic energy

T = Talon

Now to get out of the tower just go down to the first floor, cut all the grass and walk south east into the four strange carvings. Enjoy your reward!

Lubo: My grandpa told me, in the old days there were some behind this cottage. Nothing big though, just small ones, for chicken or rabbits.
