|Forgotten Knowledge Final Battle|
Before you even think of going to the final battle in the Forgotten Knowledge Quest you need to make sure you and your entire team are ready for it. We recommend the entire team to be at least level 400 to have a decent chance; ideally you'd go with the strongest possible team you can find on the server. This is nothing like the previous bosses in the quest you've encountered thus far, which could be dealt with by a team of up to 5 level 200s. So what do you need for this part? To get to the final boss you will have to head to the Halls of Hope in Thais. Here you can enter the Energy Gate to get to the Astral Shaper Dungeon. You'll pass through this dungeon to reach the Mystic Flame at the end, which brings you to a room with a teleporter. The next room has 15 stone tiles and a Lever which will teleport your team into the boss' room. On the way there you will encounter: Broken Shaper , Twisted Shaper , Shaper Matriarch and Stone Rhino . You can just ignore them to save your supplies for the real battle.

The final fight of the Quest consists of two parts. In the first you have to destroy An Astral Glyph so that The Last Lore Keeper will spawn, which starts part 2 of the battle. Make sure everyone in the team is completely prepared and knows exactly what to do. There are no mistakes allowed if you want to succeed!
A few things will have to be determined before you pull that lever. Detailed information will be provided in 'the fight' part of this guide.
When you enter the following text will appear: The Astral Glyph begins to draw upon bound astral power to expel you from the room!
Everyone must immediately target this miniboss. Mages use their SDs to hit it. You should bring a Bound Astral Power miniboss down in at most 25 seconds.
GuideDon't kill the first boss, but instead bring it to deep red/black hp. After this the whole team except 1 person rushes out and to the next green Vortex . As soon as the team is out the person left behind kills the boss. After killing it wait for 25 seconds and go to the third room where you will meet your team again.
GuideDon't kill the second boss, but instead bring it to deep red/black hp. After this the whole team except 1 person rushes out and to the next green Vortex . As soon as the team is out the person left behind kills the boss. After killing it wait for 25 seconds and go to the fourth room where you will meet your team again.
GuideDon't kill the third boss, but instead bring it to deep red/black hp. After this the whole team except 1 person rushes out and to the next green Vortex . As soon as the team is out the person left behind kills the boss. After killing it wait 30 seconds to rejoin your team, or sooner if the team leader says that the fourth miniboss is dead.
GuideKill the fourth boss as fast as you can and rush out to meet The Astral Source
The time you are in the room with your team should be at most 2 minutes at this point.
Upon entering the main room get into position at the Source as per instruction below and have all mages UE at the same time at the command of the team leader to get rid of all the Animated Sword . Knights must lure A Shielded Astral Glyph to the sqm south of the Source and trap it there, so that every wave by the mages, Exori and mas san will hit both the Source and the Glyph.
For spells in the main room you use waves and beams as a mage and other AoE as knight or paladin. Make sure you hit both the Source and the Glyph, so that the Source doesn't heal up.
When The Astral Source is at black HP he will turn into The Distorted Astral Source and the following text will appear: The destruction of the power source gained you more time until the glyph is powered up! At this point you focus your damage on An Astral Glyph which can now be hit. Depending on the time you either continue damaging the Glyph, or you start the second round at the green Vortex for the minibosses if they respawned; 1 person in the team can check this after the Source dies. As soon as a miniboss spawns you repeat Step 1 of this fase. Keep using GFBs to hit the Source when you run between vortices.
The image below depicts the preferred location for each vocation. In short: let druids wave, sorcs wave/beam and keep the Glyph trapped. UE every 60 seconds to clear the swords!
After the second round for the minibosses you again need to trap A Shielded Astral Glyph south of the source, just like you did the first time. The Astral Source may have healed up a bit, so focus your power on this one. Again mainly use AoE/beams/waves and UE on command to get rid of all the Animated Sword . As soon as the Source turns into The Distorted Astral Source you will focus your firepower on An Astral Glyph to kill it. This will start the second part of this fight, since now The Last Lore Keeper will spawn!
As an alternative for above method and if your team is strong enough for it you can leave 5 people in the main room to keep the Source low, the Glyph trapped and hitting it down while the rest of the team goes to kill the minibosses. This method may take more than 2 rounds at the minis and you'll be swarmed in the main room with the animated swords, so only do this if you can absolutely take that much damage. If the bound astral powers are killed fast enough this method will give you more time to be in the room, but it is vastly more dangerous!
As soon as the final boss spawns the team should UE to get rid of all the Animated Sword to make luring easier, then rush to the side of the room like in the picture below. Knights will take the boss there and trap it. Use GFBs to keep the summoned Swords of Vengeance away so that the boss can be trapped. The rest of the fight consists of bringing down this boss. Focus all your power on him, using Waves, Beams and UE/GFB if you get swarmed by all the swords. Alternatively 1 knight can stand between the team and the newly spawning Animated Sword to keep some damage off the shooters. Do make sure however that everyone hits The Last Lore Keeper at least once! Mind your HP and mind your Mana. The boss has powerful AoE spells, so keeping him from using his waves on the whole team is a must. If anyone is low hp or mana he can jump in and out of a green Vortex to recover, however this takes time so try to avoid it by using your Cupcakes.
The image below depicts the preferred location for each vocation. Position yourself to wave/beam and stay out of the boss' wave area. Keep your main ek to the right and spam exeta res so the shooters don't get hit.
After the boss dies use the Imbuing Shrine to finish your quest and obtain access to the most powerful imbuements!
