Find the thing that made you love tibia

Tibia today is a pretty easy game, you don't lose too much from dying, no items, you don't have to aim anything, you have full light and you cannot accidentally take skull. Riches and levels aren't hard to obtain so with all this abundance what do we need a guide for? -Fun.

Fun is a very objective thing, but this guide will help even highlevels and experienced gamers to find what they found interesting with this game to start with.

We will go back to basics.

"What do you give someone who has everything?"
This dilemma is what everyone entering this competition must ask themselves, more riches and more faster experience only goes so far.
So I decided to make a guide how to get the most feeling out of all our favorite game, Tibia.
Start with logging out your highlevel character that you've been power gaming.

Logg in to a low level character. Preferably without too high skills or magiclevel since the whole point of this is to make it harder and therefore more exciting.

For this I chose a level 20 knight, I did this since it has changed the least since the olden days.

When you have chosen your character you simply turn off the ambient light. This will make your gameplay harder and give it alot more feeling!

You do this by going into Options > Graphics > Advanced. Then drag the ambient light meter to 0% like on the picture. Make sure light effects are shown.

This difference doesn't only change the game experience in a esthetic way, it also forces you to use torches or lightsources as for example utevo lux, which can run out in the middle of a fierce battle in a dungeon.

Next step is hotkeys;

You set up your hotkeys like back in the days, no binding ropes, shovels, picks or machetes, no runes or potions. Only instant spells.

You will now be forced to aim!

Don't forget food, to spice it up it's always more fun to carry more diverse forms of food.

So at last your set up should look something like this:

With this setup you go out and explore! Go to places with hard monsters but much history and alot of feeling, like mintvalin, kazordoon, draconia, desert dungeons or why not orc fortress!

Last but not least, share the fun! Get your friends to join in! Shared fun is double fun!
