Benchmark Test

Created by Fafnar. on 16 Dec 2015, 00:00

Cipsoft is constantly improving and developing the Tibia client. For this reason they decided to send an invitation via email to some players in order to test it.

Looking for some technical data, they asked for help to many players, to test the performance of various graphics engines on as many different computer configurations as they could.

During the test, a short recorded scene will be shown using the various graphics engines. After each scene, the player was asked if they were able to see the displayed scene.

The benchmark test launched automatically. All you had to do was watch the short scene x4 and during the test, some technical data concerning the performance and your hardware was transmitted to them anonymously.

Let's hope this helps to improve the game experience of all of us. Thumbs up for Cip in this one!

The beta client alone has alot of improved features that the stand alone doesn't have personal favourite that I feel they need to implement into the stand alone client is The Improved Flash Battle ->options to hide NPC/skulled players/non-skulled players/party members/Guild Memebers. Thus improving specific scenarios like Open battles and stair hopping, where Magebotters already have the SD max or Navi enemy list AIDing them.

With "beta client" you meant Flash Client?. If so, yes, its features are far more cool than the Stand Alone and I really hope they get added on the new client. I can't understand why it failed compared with that creepy and old C++ client. Perhaps ppl refuse to change, perhaps Flash doesn't feel as stable as C++, perhaps there are no available proxies for flash ;/. Also, this new client is my last hope to see a game free of botters, at least for a while.

At least we know they're still working on the new client. I wonder how far progress is.
